The 3-Month
Plant Based Nutrition Coaching Program
Personalized support for women who are motivated to reverse their disease through plant-based nutrition and mindfulness
Diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol are 3 key risk factors for heart disease, our #1 killer in the United States.
While they are incredibly common, did you know that they are actually preventable and even reversible? You don’t have to keep taking more meds. You don’t have to suffer the side effects. You’re not destined to the fate of your family members.
There is a way out. There is a way to say goodbye to your disease for good.
Do you have one or more of the following: hypertension, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol?
Do you feel overwhelmed with nutrition information and don’t know where to start?
Have you tired everything on the internet but the numbers just aren’t budging? Maybe they’re getting worse?
Are you tired of side effects?
Do you want to get off your medications (if you can)?
Are you struggling to make and sustain the lifestyle changes you need to ditch your diagnosis?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, you are in the right place!
Hi, I’m Dr. Christina Cherian
I’m a board certified Family Medicine physician and a diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
10 years ago, I was on the verge of quitting med school—burnt out, anxious, and disconnected from the work I once felt called to do. That's when I discovered a whole food plant based diet.
Suddenly, there was a reason to stay. I learned that I could actually take patients off their medications rather than moving them along on the slow but certain conveyor belt to worsening disease, disability, and early death. I read and learned everything I could and eventually became board certified in Lifestyle Medicine.
For the past 8 years, I have been turning this insight into action, in myself and my patients. And the results have been nothing short of astounding.
Imagine This…
You wake up with more energy. Your A1c is normal. You’re eating meals that actually nourish you—and you enjoy them. You’ve lost weight, dropped a medication, and feel like yourself again. Most importantly? You believe in your ability to heal.

What I’ll help you with:
A Science-Backed Way to Eat
A whole food plant based diet has been shown in numerous studies to prevent, treat, and even reverse our scariest cardiac risk factors - hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol. Reductions in blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels can be seen in just a few weeks, if not less. There is much to learn and understand with this way of eating, and I’ll be there to provide you with all the information you need to thrive on a plant-based diet and answer any questions that come up along the way.
Sustainable Goals
Big goals can be scary. Overhauling the kitchen overnight might not be the way to go. Habit science shows that sustainable goals are built by starting small, staying consistent, and creating systems that support lasting change. We’ll break things down so that we can tackle things at your own pace - whether it’s one step at a time, or three. I’m also a fan of working smarter, not harder in the kitchen, so get ready for kitchen hacks, formulas, and easy recipes that will cut your food prep time in half.
Mindset Shift
You’ve likely been eating a certain way for decades of your life. Certain mindset shifts will be necessary in order to cement a brand new way of eating and living. We will utilize the practice of mindfulness to examine the mind as you make changes. As we work together, we will identify habit patterns of the mind that no longer serve you and replace them with wholesome, nourishing, helpful thoughts and states of mind that will support you on this journey, especially when the going gets rough.
Accountability
It’s difficult to make lasting changes in isolation. It took me 5 years to go fully plant-based. I wish I had had the support, encouragement, and resources needed make me feel confident as I struggled to stick to my goal. Accountability and the right support when you need it the most will empower you to keep going even when you’ve fallen off and even when it feels like everything is working against you. We will also tap into the science of habit formation to make healthy habits stick.
You need progress, not perfection. You need change that is sustainable, not temporary. You need true lifestyle change, not another diet.

Did you know…
Genetics only accounts for about 20% of the ultimate cause of chronic disease.
80% of it comes down to lifestyle factors like diet and exercise.
This means that whether we feed disease or bloom into health is almost entirely up to us, and how we chose to live our lives.
If you’re struggling to make changes on your own…
There is a better way.
You Might Be Wondering…
Will this help with my medical condition?
Most chronic health conditions are deeply influenced by our daily choices. Everything you eat either fuels disease or fights it. Making your body the type of environment where disease cannot thrive is my vision for you. I am most passionate about helping people with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and type 2 diabetes as they are the leading risk factors for heart disease, our #1 killer in the United States. However, everyone can benefit from optimizing diet and many of my clients experience improvements in their labs, medication use, and most importantly, quality of life.
What’s the difference between coaching and a doctor’s visit?
While I am a board-certified physician, these visits are dedicated solely to coaching. Coaching is about listening deeply, asking meaningful questions, and helping you reconnect with your own motivation, inner wisdom, and goals. In these sessions, we create a judgment-free container where your goals, challenges, and values lead the way to lasting lifestyle change. You’ll have a compassionate partner to help you move forward with gentle guidance, encouragement, and accountability, as well as evidence-based answers to all your nutrition questions.
During these visits, I will not be able to prescribe medications, order labs, or place referrals. I also am not able to function as your primary care provider. However, I can help with understanding lab results and tracking your progress.
Do I have to go vegan?
Absolutely not! It’s how you eat the majority of the time that matters and any shift towards a plant-predominant diet moves you closer to health. I personally follow a vegan diet for ethical as well as health reasons, but there is zero judgement here. There is never the expectation to transition to an exclusively plant-based or vegan diet.
Will I really get off my meds?
While I can’t promise outcomes—no one can—I can tell you this: the body is capable of profound healing when we remove what harms and add what supports it. Many of my clients have reduced or even come off medications as a result of consistent, meaningful lifestyle changes. My role is to help you take one sustainable step at a time to move toward a life with more vitality, freedom, and possibility.
Do you take insurance?
Unfortunately, these coaching sessions are not covered by insurance. However, I do offer flexible payment plans. Please schedule a free coaching call or email me at hello@lotuslifestylemedicine.com and we can come up with a plan that works for you.
